Some Details on the XBOX 360 A/V Setup

"Skimming over the source of some info recently reported by Joystiq, I’ve run across some additional details about the Xbox 360 A/V components. Among these are that it will support a VGA cable for connecting the console to a computer monitor at resolutions of 640x480, 1024x768 and even 1920x1080. At 60Hz for all resolutions, though, you might want to consider getting CRT large enough that you can keep it at a distance or a LCD monitor with a fast response time (like Dell’s 2005FPW).

As you may be able to ascertain from the image above (depending on your babelfishing skills), it also supports fiber optic audio output, S-Video, Component Video and HDMI outputs." [more]

Where does it say HDMI on the slide? I see an end connector going into the XBOX 360 but it's not HDMI. It just looks exactly like the end connector of the original A/V Cables going into original XBOX's. They kinda look like this:

Just look at the back of your XBOX. Therefore it could be ANY type of cable going into the XBOX 360, and also means there's a possibility that your original XBOX cables will work with the XBOX 360, which would be great for me and my monster cables.
