Three new game systems battle it out PS3 Revolution Xbox 360
"Video gamers love a battle royal. And they're surely licking their lips in anticipation of the next Battle of the Boxes among Microsoft's Xbox 360 (aka X360), Sony's PlayStation 3 (PS3) and Nintendo's Revolution.
All three systems were unveiled at the recent E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) trade show in Los Angeles, with pre-combat position statements justifying the looming warfare and the heavy investments to make the formats fly.
MIGHTIEST OF THE MIGHT: Microsoft executives blustered at their press conference that Xbox 360 is the 'world's most powerful game system' and predicted that the console would reach an audience of 'one billion' customers.
Given that Sony's cumulative world sales of the most successful PlayStation systems are currently at the 190 million mark, you gotta wonder what the Microsoft gang's been smoking."
