Tor Books announced today that it has concluded a licensing agreement with Microsoft Game Studios. Through terms of this deal, Tor Books will publish three novels based upon the Perfect Dark continuum. The first novel, Perfect Dark: Initial Vector, will be available in October 2005.

'Tor's mission is to provide great books that explore human innovation and our ability to push the limits of technology,' says Tom Doherty, President and Publisher of Tor Books. 'Perfect Dark Zero is on the cutting edge of high fidelity interactive games and we think our relationship with Microsoft Game Studios is a perfect match.'
