Xbox 360 To Be Called "Gunjuro" In Japan?

"We know that Microsoft is planning for a worldwide launch of its next-generation console, the Xbox 360. That's no news, that's common fact. However, it's also a known fact that Microsoft will probably have a lot of problems with the marketing and sales of its products in Japan, where Sony and Nintendo reign supreme.

And it seems that the first step in their marketing strategy has been to come up with a clever name for their device. Thus, according to our Russian friends from gamemag.ru, Microsoft has just registered a new trademark name, namely 'Gunjuro'. It does sound Japanese, and also, has a certain distinct something to it that makes yiu think of a next-gen gaming console (OK, the last part is purely subjective).
