Bethesda Softworks releases new "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" Xbox 360

"Today Bethesda Softworks released a trio of new The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Xbox 360 screens. Each screen further emphasizes the detail put into both the characters, good and evil, and their lush environments.

The first screen in particular features a pair of dinosaur-type beasts approaching a cadre of knights. Rain is falling, reflected both in visible sreaking drops as well as several layers of darkening backdrop elements under a gloomy sky. This advanced lighting, shading and texturing are just the beginning of what we're looking forward to from the next generation of console games." [more]
