Revolution Rumour | Yet More Exclusive Nintendo News

Revolution Rumour | Yet More Exclusive Nintendo News

"According to our anonymous tipster, who originally provided us with some exclusive images of concept promotional images for the Nintendo Revolution, showing a 'Game Over' logo, with 'Over' reflected and 'Revo'. Now he is back with two new images, both of which can be found below:

In addition to these, he states that the above are just ideas being toyed with at the moment by people from advertisement agencies, trying to come up with memorable catchphrases and images that capture peoples' imaginations. He has apparently seen a lovely little video clip showing the tagline 'Embrace Change, Abandon Fear", with it proving to be a reversed acronym of F.A.C.E and the word 'Life' appearing after it.
Apparently [the revolution controller] will use technology that is already on the market, but a clever re-working of the idea. The revolution is to come in the way this is implemented, taking the idea of the DS and expanding upon it greatly.
Also there are some tidbits about the controller and why Nintendo is worried about Sony and Microsoft 'lifting' ideas. He tells gamers to think along the lines of turning a TV into a large touch-screen in a similar way to how Duck Hunt used to work! Then mix in the idea of gyroscopes and apparently we will all be shocked.

He concludes with 'But all this is basically just the technology. Wait till you see it in the way they've put it into use. The real revolution is in the games. All I can say is - get ready to shift your paradigm.'

Make what you will of the above, but take things with a pinch of salt for now..." [high-res screens]
