Leicester, September 19th 2005 - BXB LAN 2005 is now less than 2 weeks away and if you've not already booked your tickets to go then you better get a move on because it promises to be the biggest and best LAN event yet.

BXB LAN 2005 is your last chance to take part in one of our unique Xbox LAN events for a whole year and with bigger and better prizes than ever before this event will certainly be going off with a massive exploding sound.

Not only can you win yourself Microsoft's next generation console - The Xbox 360. You'll have the opportunity to get your hands on over a thousand pounds worth of games and merchandise from top titles like Far Cry Instincts, Halo 2 and Delta Force: Black Hawk Down.

If you've never been to a LAN event before then there are even more fantastic reasons to get involved including the chance to meet with other Xbox gamers in a friendly atmosphere; finally put a face to the names of Xbox owners you post with amongst the forums of Britxbox.co.uk; take part in a unique event organised by Xbox fans for Xbox fans and experience large lag free multiplayer gaming.

Notes to Editors

BXB LAN 2005 will be the only LAN event held this year and will be taking place at Loughborough University, Loughborough, Leicestershire on Saturday October 1st. The doors will open at 10am and competitions will begin at 1pm.

BXB LAN 2005 is a unique event aimed at adults and are not suitable for people under the age of 18. There will also be a newly refurbished snack shop and bar available for guests to the LAN events to take a break from the gaming action.

Visitors to LAN 2005 now have two options on how to buy your tickets for the event. You can either do the entire thing online using BXB's booking system and pay by PayPal or Personal Cheque or you can register online and then pay on the day.

Ticket Prices:
Standard Ticket - £14 (With a £4 discount if you register online and bring a television)
On the Door - £18 (Without registering beforehand)
