"Right now, even Microsoft doesn't know exactly what games will be backwards compatible on Xbox 360. Okay, say we figure Halo's a shoe-in, but what about the rest of the library? There's potentially hundreds of games people would argue are just as worthy of attention.

Phantom Dust, Psychonauts and Advent Rising are all recent niche releases for the machine that didn't receive many sales, but the love from the fans was and is still there - shouldn't you be able to play them on your Xbox 360, too?

Whether that happens is partially up to you. 1UP has decided to give Microsoft a helping hand and compiled a list of 80 games (split into two lists) the company isn't sure about. We're asking our readers (that's you!) to help swing their decision on what games ultimately become backwards compatible.

Of course, there's no 100% guarantee the top-voted Xbox games will play on 360, but know for a fact that Microsoft is listening. This isn't like the presidential election, folks; votes here will make a difference. Microsoft honestly wants to know what their fans are crazy for, so head over to our poll page and tell them already!
