With IGN’s new Revolution page, we are getting new information on a daily basis. Today IGN has shade some light on the much rumored Nintendo Revolution disks

Single-layered Revolution discs will hold 4.7GBs of data, tops, while the dual-layered variety tops out at 8.5 gigs.

What will this mean for the content of Revolution games? That will depend on the remainder of the Revolution’s hardware, as well as the tools that are made available to the developers

This is a huge jump from the 1.5GB capacity of GameCube discs and more than enough storage capacity for any non-high-definition game." [more]
