Sega Files For After Burner

"Not too long ago, Sega issued word announcing that it had signed a next-generation development deal with Secret Level. The deal signed would see one of Sega's classic franchises brought back on a next-generation console. This morning, following that report, it appears that Sega has filed for the name After Burner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO. Though the filing itself doesn't confirm a possible revival of the series, it's certainly interesting, especially given the E3 demos. At any rate, stay with us for more news throughout the day."
