US Congress investigates GTA
"The controversy over the hidden content in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas rumbles on, this time with the US Congress getting involved.
The House has asked the Federal Trade Commission to investigate Rockstar Games and Take Two Interactive over the issue, the resolution pas passed by a strong majority of 355 to 21.
'If that company purposely hid that information or material to make a sham of the ratings, it is nothing less than deceptive advertising and should be punished, in this case severely,' said Rep. Fred Upton of Michigan.
The irony of course of this whole issue is that it's a very violent game, yet politicos have jumped on the bandwagon due some pretty tame sex minigames being unlocked by a mod."
Ratings work when they are enforced. This is a complete waste of tax-payer money. Election year polotics.
