"Square's MMORPG joins the list of next-gen games at German show
Square Enix will reveal its Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XI next month and give away a trial version of the MMORPG at the games convention in Leipzig, Germany.
Attendees of the show, which runs from 17 to 21 August, will be allowed to explore specially created areas in the newly created next-gen adventure, receive their own special FFXI CD and meet some specially created characters.
The announcement comes after Konami confirmed that Hideo Kojima would be at the convention to showcase Metal Gear Solid 4 for PS3. Although, sadly, Sony has since announced that none of its own PS3-bound software will be appearing at the event.
However, since THQ has promised to demo WWII action-strategy game The Outfit, and Volition's Saint's Row at the Leipzig knees-up, it will certainly be worth keeping an eye on gamesradar.com's coverage from the festival floor."
