what the hell is wrong with you? SOTC is decent. And yes, MGS could be considered as better, but the two titles are completely exclusive to each other. Neither one relates at all, and the styles of both games are just so different that comparing them is just plain stupid. BTW, SOTC is not only decent, it's brilliant. ANd yes, MGS is also brilliant, just in a completely different way.

first of all, SOTC was amazing- short, but amazing, and i hope that SOTC 2 is just as good. everyone's pissing that 360 is better, and while it may be, SOTC 2 will NEVER go to xbox, and why? because Sony MAKES SOTC. Its one of the few things it has left. Belive me, i know this cause I'm pissed off that Ace Combat 6 is going to xbox, and whats up with FF? What the heck- that's 2 of the 3 reasons i bought a ps3. I'm having second thoughts now, so maybe i'll just cut my losses and jump ship. But anyways, SOTC 2 is long ways off, probably with a bunch of delays on the way. Lets all hope that it delivers like the first one did.

I also think that it should be for ps2, actually it should be for all consoles so everyone could be happy! Also, I think it would be awesome if there were more colosi and after you kill them you could ride them around and the map would be bigger so you could go inside ICO castle and stuff like that!

Wander from SOTC isnt ICO..... ICO is meant to be one of his descendants and the girl in ICO is the descendant of the girl in SOTC.... thats why she was meant to be trapped in the castle in ICO, cos the girl from SOTC got trapped in it (must have had an extension or 2 since then!) and she is now the queen of the dead in ICO and wants her to share the same fate.... most random storyline ever!

Why is that 360 owners are so defensive? It's ridiculous! I'm lucky enough to own both 360 and ps3 and at the moment the 360 has a huge lead in gaming stakes but the processing power of ps3 will soon become evident. Rockstar have already admitted the are having problems with the capacity of the dvd for gta 4 cos they want the 360 version to be the same as ps3.

I read about people complaining about "why not release this game for the XBox 360?" Well, the Playstation 2 had it first and only, so it is only right that the Playstation 3 has it now! Why doesn't the Xbox 360 give up some exclusive titles? Because the Xbox probably had the original game before and it would not make sense to release the sequel without releasing the original!

The Idea of a sequal to a prequal is stupid in itself. The creators of Ico and SOTC made the games from orginality they are great games because of that to make a sequal would only ruin it, and I dont think the makers of the game are looking to do that.

Hello silly forum squatters and trolls. I work in the industry and I regret to inform you that there will be no SotC 2 according to my pen pal over at Team Ico. They are working on a project, but he will not tell me what. As for those of you confused about the story, the guy's name in SotC is Wander, he is spiritually the same person as Ico, but they are not quite one in the same. Pertaining to the trolls here, why waste your time posting about a game that is so "terrible" when you could be playing your own "awesome" game that is so much better?
Again, I apologize to those who were hoping for the second, but the team really prides itself in being original, and they can't very well do that if the serve up the same old leftovers reheated with a bit of seasoning right?

ok personally as an owner of the game and have beat it enough times to get to the garden plus almost everything from the time attack modes, i think it should be for playstation 2 because its easier thats simply my point more people have the system and ps3 is too expensive and there is literally no difference between the 360 and ps3 so those people ahould stop bitching about it. and another thing is the people that have played and beat the game should really be the ones to really talk,the multiplayer function sounds cool though. Also, i think thatyou guys should learn how to talk right, not be all like,"go back to skool!!!".

still, if they did make sotc2, it would be pretty incredible. on the ps2 the graphics were jaw-dropping, so on ps3 or 360 (pick your poison), you'd probably have to play it twice just to find out where you dropped your jaw this time. i pray they change their minds... also, to those who scold so harshly, the page title is "the console wars". what do you expect? just leave the trolls to their caves.

Shadow of COlossus 2, that would be absolutely great! I want it to be a more dramatic, Masterfully Artful, Stylish multiplayer game, and with Several Good Endings of different/varying levels this time making you feel good-better-best escalating each time you finish playing the game, More Replay Value, More Mysteries, More Intriguing explorations, More Giants, and this time around Better Camera Angles please.

Would definitely get this if it comes out. This BadAss game deserves a 2nd punch to that mind blowing experience.

Firstly, all you people saying that the is better than the should really take a minute and look at yourselves, did people fight over which console was better in the NES/ Sega/ Atari days? NO, were people doing it during the ps1/N64 days? Only a tiny bit, how about the ps2/GC/xbox days? A little bit more than before but there still was some sanity left in us. And now here we are, were having a crazy catfight over which console is supreme... just to tell all you people, there is no supreme console, there will never be a supreme console. Consoles arent there for us to fight over, their there for us to have fun with... but noooo you people think that one console is better than the other for maybe 1 or 2 highlited reasons when actually, each console is meant for a different purpose, or the makers are aiming for a different style of gaming... you people sicken me.

But back on topic, i think a new SoTC/ ICO esque game would be fantastic, with good graphics, a good storyline and what seems will be great multiplayer. Also team ICO are workin up a new game but it will not have the words "ICO" or "shadow of the collosus in it" but i guess we'll just have to wait and find out.

meh, bit like trying to do a remake of a classic 80s movie...likely to f*ck it up. plus as its a japanese comp it would be pssh*t i mean ps3 exclusive. the only reason i havent set fire to my old ps2 is because of my copy of Ico and Sotc. ps3 is crap, sony had there time back in the 90s, time to stand a side and make way for the future. by the time you've turned on your ps3, waited 50 years for the update to install you might just see Sotc2 being released lol then hopefully il be able to buy a ps3 for the price its worth $20 to play it.
