Nvidia Unveil New GPU Technology Soon
"Nvidia looks likely to lift the lid on its latest PC GPU technology and perhaps provide a further glimpse of the PS3...
Nvidia look set to unleash its next-generation graphics card technology at a US event on June 21st, leading to suggestions that further information on the Playstation3 RSX GPU will come to light at an “evening of full-throttle entertainment”.
The G70 chip is reported to be dubbed the GeForce 7800 GTX upon its release, rumoured to pump out 860 million vertices per second, 64-bit floating point texture filtering and blending, and featuring support for DirectX9.0, OpenGL 2.0 along with Nvidia's CineFX and Intellisample engines.
