PlayStation 3: Stranglehold Goes PS3
"Midway bursts into the next gen with all guns blazing. First video and details of John Woo and Chow Yun-Fat's action-packed thriller.
After revealing that it would be supporting Microsoft's Xbox 360 at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, Midway confirmed with IGN today that it would be supporting the PlayStation 3 as well. This means that to capture the intensity and potential of both next generation consoles, Midway will present its upcoming Stranglehold as its first unique convergence of motion pictures and videogames.
Scheduled for 2006, Stranglehold is a third-person action-adventure designed to capture the balletically-choreographed action and freeze-framed sequences that Director John Woo is so well known for. Starring Chow Yun-Fat as Hard Boiled character Inspector Tequila and taking place in Hong Kong and Chicago, this hyperkinetic, all-guns-blazing action game is sure to grab action fans and knock them out."
