It is a good day in sports gaming when the character models are so detailed that you can actually see sweat coursing down players' bodies. That's exactly what happens in the trailer for the Xbox 360 version of NBA Live 06, and we have the video to prove it.

We've already seen some pretty amazing stuff from the EA crew for Madden 06 on the 360, but the Live trailer takes things to the next level. Featuring video of the Sonics and Pistons, the segment kicks off with theatrical music and the unmistakable voice of Marv Albert setting the scene. After whisking around the arena, the camera closes in on the action, and we get our first glimpse of the character models: roped with muscle, perfectly structured, and closely resembling their NBA counterparts.

With the NBA Finals so fresh in everyone's minds, it's easy to see just how good the likenesses are. Not only are the face models for Tayshaun Prince and Chauncey Billups spot-on, but their body types and accessories are also perfectly matched.
