Microsoft vs. Sony: Movie War

"Sony and Microsoft will release movies based off hit game titles from Xbox and Playstation 2.

Microsoft is planning a 2006 launch for The Halo movie - the same timeframe as Halo 3 on the Xbox 360, which will arrive at around the same time as the launch of the PlayStation 3 according to Microsoft chairman Bill Gates.

Now, Universal Pictures has bought the rights to create a film adaptation of Sony Computer Entertainment's critically acclaimed PlayStation 2 action-adventure, God of War, according to trade magazine Variety."

Doom 3 anyone?

Yep doom is coming too, but that is more of a PC game that was a port to consoles, Halo and God of War are staples in each of the Consoles list of titles.

I think Sony is trying really hard to stay in competition with xbox, but in the end xbox will win.
