Ubisoft Can't Stop EA Takeover
"You might recall that in 2004 EA Games bought nearly 20% of Ubisoft, an act that was interpreted as 'aggressive'.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has admitted that there would be little he could do to stop a takeover by Electronic Arts. Guillemot isn't nervous however, stating that he has several reasons not to be concerned. For one a takeover would not come cheap for EA, who would have to spend a ridiculous amount of money in order to pull it off. Just because they can't be bought cheaply doesn't mean they can't be bought, though."
