"Five youngsters trying to scalp their newly purchased Xbox 360s in Anchorage, Alaska, lost them to two thieves, one of them holding a handgun.
The Xbox 360 is the video game console made by Microsoft that has become this holiday season's hot-selling item. It has become the main target of thieves because of limited supplies, reports the Anchorage Daily News.
In the robbery incident, five young men tried to make a profit after buying the devices from some local stores. Police said the thieves, who saw them buy the items, followed them to where the youngsters were trying to sell them.
Police said the thief with the gun ordered the youngsters to open their van's door. The second thief then took the 360s and escaped. One of the youngsters saved their fifth Xbox by hiding it under his feet." [link]
